How the scoring works
The same answers always give the same result. Each floor type starts from a base score, then every rule below that matches your answers adds or removes points. The three highest scores are shown, with the words behind them.
Base scores: SPC 50, LVT click 48, LVT glue-down 44, Laminate 46, Engineered 46, Solid wood 40, WPC decking 40, Commercial vinyl 36.

Budget: a type whose indicative price band overlaps yours gets +8; one that typically starts above your band gets −25.
Products of the winning types are then ranked by colour tone, look, rooms, wear layer (for kids and pets), underfloor-heating compatibility, a published price within your band and a documented water rating where your rooms get wet.
