Rajasthan
Jaipur is hot and dry for much of the year, with a short monsoon, dusty winds and cool winter nights. Dry air is gentle on most floors; heat, sun and grit are what need planning.
Measurement visits in Jaipur are being set up — order samples and use the calculator meanwhile; we'll confirm installation partners on enquiry.
Climate & your floor
General guidance for the city, not a survey of your home: the slab, moisture and flatness decide the final choice.
Long, hot and dry summers with strong sun. Leave the expansion gaps the installation guide asks for, use blinds in sun-facing rooms, and choose lighter tones if a room gets a lot of direct sun.
Dusty winds bring grit indoors, and grit is what scratches a floor’s surface. Mats at every entrance, felt pads and regular sweeping matter more here than the floor type.
The monsoon is short, but humidity still rises for a few weeks. Acclimatise wood-based floors before laying.
Termites are common. Treat the slab before laying laminate or wood. SPC and LVT have no wood fibre in the core — a material property, not a guarantee.

We list only partners we have verified — premises, GSTIN and phone — so this list starts empty and grows city by city.
Most types do well indoors in dry air. SPC is easy to clean and stable, engineered wood and laminate are warm and comfortable, and all of them need expansion gaps and protection from grit.
Often, if the stone is sound, dry and flat within 3 mm over 2 m. Uneven or chipped stone may need levelling first, and flatness is checked before any floor is quoted.
Any material gets hot in direct summer sun; lighter colours stay cooler than dark ones. Shade over a sit-out makes the biggest difference.
